Raku is a mysterious, magical process. You will not get any two pieces to look
the same. They can look similar, but not exactly the same. That is the magic, as
well as the mystery. You keep searching to find a way to have consistency with
the outcome.
I am continually hunting down the best glazes for me and the way I fire. I have
learned that two potters can use the same glazes and have totally different
results. This makes every rakuist' work unique to them.
Jewelry
|
 |
Rakued Geo-pendants have become one of my most popular items. Each piece is a
one-of-a kind! They come with a large triangle, square, circle or oval with a
smaller triangle, square or circle over the larger one. |

Vases
|
 |
Raku vases are from 4" tall to 20" tall. They are all waterproof so
you can put flowers or plants in them. You can put them outside in the
summertime. I recommend they come in for the winter, mainly because of
freezing which can cause cracking. I have had pieces outside for years and
have not had any discoloration. |
- Sconces
|
 |
Raku sconces make very unique wall decorations in your home.
The raku colors are vibrant and seem to be very rich because of the flow
of the clay. |
- Planters
|
 |
The raku planters come in various sizes. They are waterproof so your
planter is protected. Try putting the large planters outside in the
summertime. |

Angels
|
 |
Angels are both traditional and contemporary in design.
The contemporary angels are rakued in various colors and sizes. There is
also a contemporary angel that is white with mother-of-pearl
highlights. The traditional angels also come in various colors as well as white with mother-of-pearl
highlights.

Christmas
|
 |
Rakued Christmas ornaments are
absolutely beautiful on a tree or displayed on a table or desk. There is
also a Nativity set that is either rakued or white with mother-of-pearl
highlights. |
